Album Review: Warren Zevon’s Self-Titled Album

By Matt “Matterson” Whitehurst

I do have a big taste in music, but my favorite genre is classic rock. One of the best artist in the genre is Warren Devon. You may heard of his hit song Werewolves of London but I am talking about his self-titled album Warren Zevon. No, Werewolves of London is not on the album. It is on his Excitable Boy album which came out after the Warren Zevon album.

Zevon’s self-titled album is filled with a sorrow, joy, and a bit of humor. It starts off with my favorite Warren Zevon song, Frank and Jesse James. Then it ends with a sad song Desperados Under the Eaves. There is also a lot of well -known musicians singing harmony, and playing other instruments on the album.
I hope you listen to the album on any music streaming program or where you can buy it.
