I grew up watching a lot of tv shows and one of those was The Peanuts gang. You know, Snoopy, Linus, Lucy… and good old Charlie Brown. When I heard a 3D animated movie was coming out, I became interested. The film is great from the beginning to the end.
There is a lot of nostalgia but that is because Charles Shultz’s son and grandson wrote the story for the film.
It really tells the same story when the red headed girl moves into the neighborhood, Charlie Brown becomes head over heels for her and he tries to get courage to talk to her. While that is going on, Snoopy has his own adventures haunting down the Red Baron.
One of my problems with the film was there were a lot happening before the Christmas break. Some of the events should be spread out in the course of one school year. Another gripe is the predictable moments that I have seen from the comic strips and specials. Some of them are predictable and some are not. These are the only problems but they are not major problems.
The whole movie is fun and entertaining for everyone to watch. 4.5 stars out of 5 stars.
